Finally Did It-Vista

I am running Vista. (Business Edition) Note the update desktop screenshot to the right. Click the thumbnail for 1440x900 goodness.

I have had it here since it was first released. I got it and Office 2007 as a part of the "Power Together" promotion. Haven't been able to run it since my computer was so old, but the new computer runs it NICELY. Games are running fine, and the only hardware I had a problem with was the Intel network drivers, but I was able to update them and poof, all is good. Had to tweak the living poop out of it though to get rid of all the annoying prompts and ugly huge shortcut arrows.

Glass looks beautiful. My next question is, should I install Office 2007? It's sitting here, and I am running Office 2003. Opinions? Leave a comment or use the chat box below and to the right for live real time chat.

In under 24 hours I was able to raise $90. I purchased COD4 from Steam using Paypal, then donated the $36 and change that remained to my clan's servers. I would especially like to thank my clan.

I would also like to thank the folks over at Cerulean Studios' forums that were kind, donated without a second thought, kind and not jealous or attitude ridden. It was unbelievable how some of those guys acted. Completely asinine. I guess there are always the good and the bad, I would like to thank the good guys, not the morons that were worried about making a statement, being dominant, or appearing aggressive and in the lead on a forum. Pathetic, jealous, tiny people.

As you can see below, wifey let me get a new computer. She also let me get Orange Box because I found it for really cheap. I really want Call Of Duty 4 so I can play it on the new system, but wifey says "NO MORE FOR YOU!".

My 9 year old comes running into the room and say "I FOUND OUT HOW TO RECORD MY LINE RIDER VIDEOS!" He then runs back to the computer room. A few minutes later I hear "I CAN ADD TITLES!".

About 15 minutes later he calls me into the room to see his finished video. He made this all on his own, without my help, figured it all out himself.

My little miss doggie had her puppies today. I was on a job, and my wife called me and told me she was having them. I left the job site immediately. She had 2 on our bed then we moved them to a corner of our room. She was really tired by number 8, so I had to pull 9 and 10 out for her. I haven't been able to check sexes yet, but there are 4 Blond and 6 Black labs. "Sheena" is a chocolate lab/cocker spaniel mix, and the father is an Australian shepherd mix.

Sex Frogs-Only $20

An elegant lady goes to her local pet store in search of an exotic pet. As she looks about the store, she notices a box full of live frogs. The sign says:

'Sex Frogs! Only $20 each! Comes with complete instructions.'

The girl excitedly looks around to see if anybody's watching her. She whispers softly to the man behind the counter, 'I'll take one.'As the man packages the frog, he quietly says to her, 'Just follow the instructions!' The elegant lady nods, grabs the box, and is quickly on her way home.

As soon as she closes the door to her apartment, she opens the instructions and reads them very carefully. She does exactly what is specified:

1. Take a shower.
2. Splash on some nice perfume.
3. Slip into a very sexy nightie.
4. Crawl into bed and place the frog down beside you and allow the frog to do what he has been trained to do.

She then quickly gets into bed with the frog and to her surprise nothing happens! The blonde is very disappointed and quite upset at this point. She re-reads the instructions and notices at the bottom of the paper it says, 'If you have any problems or questions, please call the pet store.'

So, she calls the pet store. The man says, 'I'll be right over.' Within minutes, the man is ringing her doorbell. the elegant lady welcomes him in and says,'See, I've done everything according to the instructions. The frog just sits there.'

The man, looking very concerned, picks up the frog, stares directly into its eyes and sternly yells to the frog:

'Listen to me! I'm only going to show you how to do this one more time!'
